Live Each Day Like It Is Your Last

Why is it that we have such a hard time appreciating every day, every moment, until it is almost no more? Then, a wake-up call. Life has new meaning. We live every day like it is our last.

COVID has caused all of us to look at life differently.

I’ve told my near-death story before.
I was 28, a young mom, perfect heath, expecting again.

I rolled over in the night. That’s all I did.

I was suddenly in the ER with excruciating pain.
Tests and more tests. Nothing.

Scar tissue had connected my colon to my abdominal wall, and it was ripping apart, hidden behind the baby—a slow downward spiral.
An exploratory. Lots of complications.
Two weeks in a semi-coma. Dying.

But I had a will to live.
My child needed his mother.

A heavenly encounter, and I recovered. But the baby died.
The doctors said there was no medical reason.
It was just not my time to go.

It changed my life.
I began living every day like it was my last.

I began to talk about it.
Others got that urgency in their hearts, too.

As you plan for 2022, don’t wait for your wake-up call.
Your path to true success, relationships, and happiness is to learn this truth of mine.

Live every day as if it is your last.

Live like that.
Love like that.

Give your all to every day of your life.
It will change your life.

Has COVID caused you to rethink about how you live your life?
